What does this packaging case demonstrate?

The project demonstrates how a bakery brand can carry recognizable colour, illustration and logo elements across different package structures. The carton provides an integrated die-cut handle for carrying, while the bag supports a second service format with matching branding.

Packaging formats shown

Custom printed carry carton

The folding-carton format uses an integrated handle and a shaped top closure. Large illustrated surfaces make the package visible from multiple viewing angles, while the front panel keeps the Fat Cat Cookie Co. identity prominent.

Branded paper bag

The paper bag repeats the blue-and-green checkerboard pattern and central logo. This gives customers a consistent brand experience when a bag is more appropriate than the handled carton.

Brand consistency across structures

The two formats share the same core visual language: bold colour, high-contrast logo artwork and a checkerboard pattern. The carton adds a dense, graffiti-inspired illustration around the upper panels, while the bag uses a simpler field that keeps the logo easy to recognize.

For packaging buyers, this is a useful example of adapting one identity rather than forcing an identical layout onto structures with different proportions and functions.

Business analysis: packaging pain points and response

Challenge: a portable multi-item cookie order

A bakery order may need to move from counter to customer without losing its gift-like presentation. The integrated die-cut handle turns the carton into a carryable package and avoids treating transport as an afterthought.

Response: structure becomes part of the experience

The shaped top closure and handle give the package a recognizable silhouette. Broad printed panels surround the product with the brand’s visual identity during pickup, carrying and presentation.

Challenge: one brand across different order formats

Not every order requires the same container. The project needs the carton and paper bag to feel related even though their proportions and functions differ.

Response: adaptable brand assets

The checkerboard pattern, blue-green palette and central cat logo create continuity. The carton uses denser illustration where more display area is available; the bag simplifies the layout for faster recognition.

Business value

The two-format system gives the bakery a more consistent customer-facing presentation and creates packaging that is visually recognizable beyond the point of sale.

Evidence boundary

This analysis is based on the finished structures and artwork visible in the supplied project photograph. No measured increase in sales, repeat purchase or social engagement is claimed without customer data.

Planning a similar cookie packaging project

A production quotation should confirm finished dimensions, product weight, board or paper specification, printing coverage, coating requirements, packing method, order quantity and delivery destination. For food applications, the appropriate materials and any direct- or indirect-food-contact requirements must be reviewed for the specific product and use.

Beneco’s standard minimum order quantity is 5,000 units. Final feasibility, specification, price and timing are confirmed during quotation.

Documentation note: This case study describes visible features of the finished packaging shown in the original project photograph. Exact board grade, paper weight, printing process, coating, dimensions, production quantity and performance results are not inferred from the image.
