A note on Beneco and Mississauga
Beneco ran a plant in Mississauga for years. In 2022 that operation was consolidated into the Cobourg facility, and Beneco no longer operates from a Mississauga address. Third-party directories and older listings that still show a Mississauga location predate that consolidation. What Beneco makes
Offset printed folding cartons on 18pt to 24pt SBS and recycled paperboard: straight and reverse tuck end, tuck end auto bottom, seal end, 1-2-3 bottom, four and six corner, sleeves, trays, hanger boxes and mailer styles. Finishing includes foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, soft touch, aqueous coating and clear window patching. Getting product to Mississauga
Mississauga sits roughly 45 km from the Scarborough plant and about 150 km from Cobourg, both on the 401. That is a same-day trucking lane in either direction. For brands that hold inventory, scheduled release shipments against a blanket order are usually more economical than moving a full run at once.
